I've been having a lot of trouble with my current motor, burning about 1qt. of oil for every 50-100 miles of driving so I think it's pretty much due for a rebuild. Instead of doing that, I went ahead and picked up a used BP motor out of a FWD car to replace it with. Shouldn't be a big deal, since I'll be taking the intake, exhaust, oil pan and other miscellaneous items off of the original motor and putting it on the new one. I'm also planning on doing the coolant re-route on the thing while I'm at it since the new motor already has the outlet on the back of the engine anyway, so that's a plus.

Anyway, I already have the motor in my garage and I would like to put it up on my engine stand for a few days and get it all prepped up before I'm ready for the actual swap. I was wondering if anyone had an engine hoist I could borrow to get the engine on the stand to begin with, and then of course I'll also need it to do the actual swap.

It would be greatly appreciated, but if nobody has one I'll pick one up in a few weeks I guess and get it done.

if you have a way to move it, I would lend you mine. But!!! I'd like to borrow your stand for a bit after.
