Good deal, but I just got a Craftsmen set just like that for $10 at Sears.

yup. w00t is pretty awesome. They generally have really great deals on whatever they're selling that day (and yes, the stories can be... interesting) though this is the 1st time in a while it's really not that great a deal.

This is also the first time in... well... probably ever, that I can agree w/ ST. $7.00 + $5 shipping's not that great of a price for that. Hell, you can probably get that exact set @ Satan's Emporium (WalMart) for the same.

 I'll agree that it's not a great "jump up and down because you scored the deal of a century" deal, but possibly one worth passing on anyway.
And I know they have them, but I don't think I've ever walked into Satan's Emporium looking for tools. lol Just not the first place that comes to mind when I need something, IDK why.

A lot of times they do have those stupid crazy deals tho.

It is when you're in the middle of a clutch swap and you realize you lost that ONE tool you need a couple months back, and it's 11:00 at night ;)

Haha! Very true. I'm fortunate to not have run into that situation before. I had always done my work in a dealership's service department, so I had access to every tool that you could ever imagine. Now that I don't have that anymore, I guess it's time to start adding to the tool collection again as necessity requires. lol

Gonna have to jump on that one and buy 3 sets in typical w00t fashion.
