Fellini's, Me and Ed's, and of course the California Pizza Kitchen.
Best of all time was Sweet Mellisa's down in Savannah, they opened from 11PM to 5AM, you stood in line, you got a slice and a cup of water, it costs $4 even, and was always outstanding.

Atlanta's Antico Pizza Napoletana Wins International Award from World-Renowned Italian Authority
Atlanta's Premier Pie Crafters Honored by Festa Della Pizza, Named Top in Class in the United States
ATLANTA, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Molto bene! Known across the Southeast for its unrivaled quality, flavor and ambiance, Antico Pizza Napoletana is very good, indeed – and is quickly becoming known globally. Italy's own Festa Della Pizza, held annually in the birthplace of pizza near Naples, has recognized Antico for its award-winning take on tradition (video: Antico Pizza Napoletana), naming the Atlanta favorite as a Top in Class pizzeria.
The Festa Della Pizza draws thousands of visitors from around the world over a two-week celebration. The organization bestows its Top in Class honor among certified entities across the globe. Pizza crafters the world over work toward the Traditional Specialties Guaranteed certification, given by the European Commission's Istituto Mediterraneo di Certificazione. IMCERT awards STG certification to restaurants committed to using authentic ingredients, including the Italian Molino San Felice flour, to prepare the most quintessential Italian Neopolitan pizza.
This year's event honored pizza makers in Italy, Japan and the United States. Among the eligible certified pizzerias in the United States, Antico was named winner of the Festa Della Pizza's Top in Class award. Along with other winning pizzerias in Italy and Japan, Antico was invited participate in a live, online pizza-crafting event, broadcast at the Festa Della Pizza on September 10.
"To even be considered for this is a tremendous honor for me and my family. This recognition in Naples for pizza is like winning an Oscar in Hollywood; we are beyond thrilled," said Di Palma. Ever the innovator, Di Palma has a healthy respect for tradition and pizza crafters everywhere. He looks forward to propelling Anitco to continued growth.

Apparently a lot of famous people frequent this place too. Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman stopped in a few weeks ago:

Wow... So I guess I failed to mention that I am a manager at pizza hut, and said coworker was another manager. And we are not surprised that all these local joints kick our *** it shows in sales in our area we barely do 10k in a week. And pizza hut is a crappy company to work for atleast in management they have unhappy employees which shows with the sloppy frozen pizzas they serve.

I am so sorry for you!
I would never eat anything from Pizza Hut if there is any other choice.
Growing up in an area that has 'real' pizza ruined me for that! ;)

Antico Pizza.
Sounds interesting.
Problem is, I am not really into driving to downtown Atlanta to eat.
The location kinda sucks.
I miss living in an area where the neighborhood pizza joint was owned by Italians and kickass.
And it didnt cost a jillion dollars to enjoy it.

Felini's or Little Caesars...though Gala's might have to be right up there...but cost is higher. Pizza Hut is OK...I get tired of the taste pretty quickly but can eat multiple pounds of some of those Tuscani pasta things. Papa Johns is "meh" for me...and I'm diggin' Domino's new stuff.

And it didnt cost a jillion dollars to enjoy it.That's true, and it's kind of ironic. I hate absolutely everything about being up north... except the food. Food in NY and the NE area in general is fantastic. Except the 'real' philly cheesesteak. Do yourself a favor if you're in philly--get a cheesesteak made with cheese, not the cheeze-whiz crap. Yuck.

I went to Antico Pizza a couple months ago and didn't really enjoy my experience. It was incredibly overcrowded, poor seating, way too hot, and the pizza got soggy pretty quickly with all the ingrediants coming off in one bite per area.
I could see how it'd be really good given a knife and fork and a proper seating area - but alas it wasn't to be for me.
Someone did give me a free beer though!
As for fast food pizza, I'm actually pretty partial to Pizza Hut still, I think it's a childhood thing. We used to make trips to our local Pizza Hut when we lived in Northern Island, it was like a small western refuge from the depressing local chains.
Having said that, the speed of service at every Pizza Hut I've eaten at is beyond belief slow.

Out of all mentioned mellow mushroom is my favorite (the mighty meaty is a beast of a pizza), but being that I live in Atlanta I usually go to the smaller places; vesuvius and Rosa's are my usuals, but I have been meaning to try Antico.

CiCi's is pretty damned horrible.
So horrible that the one in Snellville just closed up one day. Everything is still on the tables, plates are ready to be used - doors are locked tight.
My kids loved that place though.
The revamped Dominos is pretty good for a chain. Crispy thin crust with white sauce, spinach and feta cheese... I could eat a whole one by myself.
Mellow Mushroom is pretty damned good though - Johnny's is good too.
Hell, I just like pizza.

my favourite Pizza Hut sales and mozzarella cheese around the outer edge of the coil wrapped "soft shell " pizza; "hand throwing" more like a traditional pizza crust, "Thin 'n Crispy", thin, crispy Pizza dough is the original style, "dippin 'with a pizza, "a pizza cut into small section, you can drop into the sauce .

After having pizza in Italy last year I never had anything here that came close until we went here. The thing about it is there is absolutely no grease in the pizza and it is all very fresh with the Roma tomatoes. You actually eat in the same room the prepare and cook it and most only speak Italian. It is a neat place. Go early because there is limited seating and parking.
