That still blows my mind! I think I read that all '99 911 Cabriolets came with hardtops, so that probably increased the supply enough to push prices way down. First person to figure out how to make a 996 hardtop fit a Miata wins!

And I guess the owners probably only drive the cabs on warm weekends, so it just sits in the garage with the top down the rest of the time. ;)
