F*** Cobb County! I was passed at high-speeds by a Corvette and I got stopped for Drag Racing. It got worse from there really fast. Again, just for reiteration, F*** Cobb County!

That sucks. I genuinely don't think that spinning around in an empty parking lot should be wreckless driving.

haha arrested for driving circles in a parking lot. How stupid, I could see if you were driftng in circles while people were walking around but not driving in circles.

plead not guilty. I got something similar, but it involved drifting around a roundabout a few times in a neighborhood under construction. I didn't get arrested though, but I got a ticket for reckless driving. The definition of reckless driving is driving in a way that endangers other people or property. I argued that there was nobody around to endanger, and all I might destroy is dirt and gravel. I bargained mine down to 'failure to maintain lane ($20 fine)' and 12 hours of community service. For some reason though, it probably still cost me nearly $300. Ugh. Its all about money.

Speaking a**hole cops...some rookie Gwinnett jerkweed gave my son a ticket for 'expired tag' while driving his moms car. Although her sticker etc was still good her birthday had just passed. What a dumb dick. Typical rookie moron behavior.

A close friend was NYPD for years...he used to cuss stupid rookie crap all the time.

I got a ticket April 7 last year, the day after my birthday for the same thing. I was doing nothing wrong and she just happened to run my tag. $230. The law is that it expires the day after your birthday. I wish they'd give warnings. I assumed it was the month of April which would've given me several weeks.

Yeah, thats really stupid. This kind of stupid law appeals to stupid cops.
Especially in this case....the driver ticketed doesnt own the car. Why should he be liable for the "expired" tag?? Idiocy.

I do think they have more important things to focus on. City cops make their money on tickets unfortunately.

I got pulled over in Cobb on Barrett for "Sliding left"... while I was making a left turn!! I went to court, pleaded not guilty, the cop didnt show up, and the prosecutor said to me just keep my tires on the road and have a nice day.

Though I have had a lot of stupid speeding tickets and never got out of those. Either way, go to court, plead not guilty, and maybe the cop wont show ;)

I went to court after my accident and the cop did show up. The solicitor struck a deal with the judge and I got off with a too fast for conditions. That bastard was pissed... the elevator ride down with him was awkward

Definately fight it, but the way if you get a ticket in Fulton go to court. I went and the judge let every person in the room off with $50 in court costs.

Maybe if they have such an issue with it, then *our* tax dollars that help to purchase them new (****ty, ugly, slow, and bloated) Chargers and Magnums, should be used to build a motorsports park conveniently located near Road Atlanta, and charge us $20/hour to use a skid pad, an autocross course, or moderately sized circuit to keep us out of trouble. Then *our* money would be put to good use buying them new crappy cars and more doughnuts. Sons of *****es need to GIVE us somewhere to have a laugh rather than having idiots on the road doing this stuff.

All in all, the world is not your race track. Drive sanely, safely and seriously...keep it legal.
