Did you contact the seller already?

I don't see a top, but I don't see where it says "no top" in the almost non-existent description.

In the current listing, it's now buy it now at $2000, it says the rollbar and soft top cover are not included. 196,000 but it looks clean and it most certainly has it's top and it's seats.

The leather seats have been replaced with cloth. I emailed the seller two auctions ago (second time is has been relisted) and the seller said the top is trashed and not installed but they have the frame.

I was watching the auction and the BIN price kept dropping every hour. At the end it was down to $1700.

With the condition, miles, lack of leather seats, and no a good top, the car is most likely worth about $1400-1600.

I'll watch the relisted auction and see how low he moves the BIN price but with that many miles it's only going to be worth about 2500-3000 fixed up so there is not a lot of room to invest in it and make a profit.

I never understood the mentality of paying 3k for a beaten high mile car thats been 'fixed up' when a low mile non beaten car can be had for 4-5k. That extra 1k or 1500 is money well spent IMHO.

I agree. But there is a market for someone that only has $2500 to spend and wants a BRG.

In that case they buy the best car you can afford. If it runs good and looks good and is complete they they will probably overlook the milage for the sake of being able to buy in their price range.

It is the same as when I bought my M3 two years ago. I had $7000 to spend. I bought the best condition car I could get. I picked it up for $5500 with 192k miles and then dropped another $1500 for misc maintenance it needed. I could have picked up a creampuff with 90k miles on it for $12k but I didn't have $12k. (later I discovered the engine had been replaced and only had 80k on it so I lucked out).

If I had some spare cash I would pick it up, but seeing as how it already been f**ked with, I won't spend more then $1200 for it.

It most likely be cheaper for me to swap all my parts from my BRG rather then fix and paint mine currently. :(
