NB foglight bulb change

I feel pretty stupid for asking how to change the bulbs on these but seriously... is there a "right" way to get to them? I can barely get my hands through to the back going through the mouth.

Last time we did it we just pulled back the plastic in the wheel well and went in that way.

yeah,, take the spash guard out from behind the foglight/in front of the wheel. It is a bit easier to remove the wheel too.

my pass side one is out, but from what I read the bulb base area likes to melt and fuse to the foglamp body making bulb change not possible. so i'm not going to deal with it. i'm just going to do 50w hid in low & wire them to stay on with the brights.

I understand maybe adding a relay but why wouldn't you use the wiring in place? Will you try to use the stock housing if it's fused? Just curious.
