Our Secret Santa gift exchange is on Saturday, December 11. Anyone is welcome to come, even if you aren't doing the gift exchange. It's going to take place at the Mellow Mushroom at Brookhaven. If you can come, please respond to this thread with how many people will be in your party and what time frame you think you will be able to make. I know some people are only available at certain times due to work, family obligations, etc. Last year we were there from about 4:00pm until around 7-8:00pm IIRC, so I'd like to shoot for the same thing this year.

One year we left and finished Nick's turbo install, last year I think we went and walked around Lenox (and some of us were approached by some weird people wanting to sell something not normally sold in the mall, lol), but we normally just figure out the after dinner plans while we're there. :)

So, I have a proposal for those interested. Either before or after this meet (more than likely before depending upon time restraints) Bridgitte and I were going to go watch Black Swan at either Phipps Plaza or Landmark Midtown Art theater. As soon as I find out showtimes, I will let you guys know if it will be before or after the meet. I'm going either way, since I am a film major and have been wanting to see this movie for quite some time. Just thought I would throw this out there in case anyone is interested. Also, for the guys, there is suppose to be a pretty good lesbian sex scene between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, :naughty:

Update for the movie. Me and some friends plan on going to the landmark midtown art theater over off Monroe. It's about 13 minutes from the mellow mushroom. We are going to attend the 9:30 pm showing of black swan. Anyone is welcome to join, me and Bridgitte are definitely going.

Cards are accepted, cash is kinda easier. No matter what method is used, it's the same matter of figuring out who owes what and then having them pay. I think last year we asked for individual tabs and they forgot and put it all on one ticket anyway. Maybe we can try again this year for individual tabs, would make life easy.

Here's what you do. Bring a 20, buy something for 7-8 bucks, then drink 2 beers. Then give Rip your 20 and the problem is solved.

If you don't like beer then simply buy Daniel, Calvin, or me 2 beers and be done with it.

True.. but most system that are at restaurants have a way of breaking up the tab into seats. This way they can both include gratuity and allow for multiple payees.
