You get the better end of this deal. Looking to make the miata a touch louder. I've got the NA Miata Budget Racer exhaust from Enthuza on my car right now with a resonated mid-pipe.
Anyone up for a trade? Mine's in great shape as far as I can tell and sounds great, just a little quieter than I'd like for the race car.

Why not a straight pipe with no muffler for a race car? Does your class limit this?

Class doesn't, but the region has sound restrictions. The muffler will be more than enough for sound deadening.
I'd also be willing to buy one outright for the right price
what size pipe is yours made with

Are there restrictions on length? Seems like you have a few other options than trading. You could butcher the part in your picture, or build a homemade job that offers limited muffling qualities.

well yeah, obviously, but with twins days away, my free time for fabbing something up is...er... none.
So, bolt in and go is very, VERY desirable ;)

I understand completely, my time in the garage is limited by two little girls (and don't forget the wife). However one cut makes you louder and less restrictive.
congrats in advance on the twins, it will change your life, for the richer.

Oh I'd love to have it, sadly my non-resonated exhaust is welded to the cat, which is welded to the header, moldy rednecks...

ricer.
lol sure, we'll go with that. Which explains why I'm slammed y0! (and trying to take a few measures to raise the car up a bit)
I like being able to hear what the car's doing... right now? Not really so much.

hmm, now that I think about it, it may just make more sense to pull the cat and put in a $50 test pipe. Boom. Done.
Anyone want a Magnaflow direct-replacement? ;)
(JK, it's not for sale... yet. Need to get my test pipe, make sure it's not *too* loud that way, and, er... oh yeah! Get my car back from Kevin who's doing my megasquirt LOL
I have no idea why I didn't just think about that sooner. Talk about the easy button....
Ordered.

it's a good thing you only have to listen to it for 45 sec at a time

We'll see. W/ the full resonated & muffled exhaust, I don't forsee it being too problematic.

I'll be surprised if you like the way that sounds.
IMO no cat = teh suck
Just gets a more tinny raspy sound.

And that's fair. It's not a sure thing or anything. Like I said, we'll see. It's all just 4 bolts in / out, so if I don't like it, it doesn't take but a couple minutes to swap it back out and sell it again

how much to just buy outright?

Define "it"
Also: read the thread. I won't be getting rid of "it" (whatever it is you're referring to) outright.

Yeah, I kinda need an exhaust. Tell you what, IF you get enthuza to build me a non-resonated mid-pipe for the budget racer, AND I don't think it's too loud, I'll trade you.
Big if tho ;)
