I havent been able to find a decent writup for this so I'm basically winging it.

My car doesn't seem to like the cold and has been taking 2-4 cranks till it gets going. Obviously I need to tweak my after cranking enrichments but I wanted to see if anyone had any good advice or at least some base settings that worked well on their car I could try so I don't spend the next week waiting for it to cool off just to try it again.

Also, my *$&# idle is still at 1200. I sprayed some TB cleaner tonight but there were no signs of a vacuum leak and my idle adjustment screw is all the way in. In the MS idle is set at 850 warm and 1400 cold. Any advice?

Thanks!

Just continue to increase the cold weather enrichments as you are doing until it starts easily, and keep your battery charged up just in case until you have it dialed in. Its different for everyone.

As for idle, I'm not so sure as I never got my intercooled JRSC setup to idle quite right. you may have to adjust the screw on the throttle body stop.

Thanks, yeah it's just a pain because I can really only test it once a day.

Never hurts to ask!

Have you tried adjusting the IAC settings? I know mine had a really bad idle seek until I changed it a bit.

Also, mine fired up first time this morning in NC with 30° weather.

I've been running three cranks a morning these past few days.

I've gotten my idle very stable at just under 1000 and I will admit defeat. I can live with it there.

he's only the bastard because he's at the gap, and I'm in the garden state.

Just keep bumping it up a bit at a time in the indicated temparature range on cold mornings. eventually, you'll get it.
