Autokonexion N2 flares, nice paint, chick owned! I recommended she post it up over here, so if she makes her way over maybe she can chime in. I realize the body kit isn't for everyone, but I like it. The color is great too. Just add turbo!

i'd rock it minus the stickers

yeh strip the stickers and it'd look nice. that kit seems like its put on correctly, but a perfectionist could make it nicer. i'd use those flares if i flared another car.

Her and Tyler own Killswitch Performance which mainly works or worked on 240's.

I do and don't like the N2 kit. It just doesn't flow, why leave the rear edge of the rear flare unfinished like it was put there with a staple gun? The fit between the front flares and the front lip are just raw. I guess if you want to project the whole "Naked Track Car" ain't got time to finish sand, or worry about panel gap...then it's the one for you. I actually like Autokonexion's Version 1 flare a lot.

For that much money, it needs to have a huge turbo under the hood.

Just to keep anyone on this site getting from burned, I think the PO sold this car for $2500. I only know that because the PO bought my car after selling the flared one.

rims, 500 dollar flare kit, hardtop, coilovers, googone, hours++ finishing the bodywork = no deal.

this is a public forum where people are entitled to our opinions and give feedback whether positive or negative. if everyone here was like-minded it would be pretty sh!tty and no-where near the size and quality it has become today

Please treat people how you would like to be treated. So please hold back on any unrelated or trashing posts in other people's advertisements. If you have a problem with someone's price please let them know in private messages. This is not an opportunity to advertise your own products for sale.

tell the mods that? this is a for sale thread. there shouldnt be a bunch of people talking negatively in a thread where people are looking to buy a car.. none of the negative feedback is even pertaining to the selling of this car. shes not scamming anyone and there is no reason to talk about how ugly you think it is in a thread like this. this wasnt posted in a picture thread titled "what do you think about my car"

really the only one that didnt like the car was bones, i would drive this car. it would be great at 2500 to start with, but as is, not worth the 4k+ starting point OBO

from florida and had to be fixed history kills it even more. this is a buyers market, not sellers.

um, we're gonna need more pics of the seller to honestly determine the value of this car

really.. according to the rules, only a couple posts on this thread arent breaking the rules.
it was body work fixes. new lip i believe and a couple minor things.. nothing "broken." i dont remember what the thread on 240atl said i wasnt looking to buy the car but it is what it is and thats the new price.. if it doesnt sell thats her issue, but bashing the thread is hardly worth while. this is one thing that annoys me.

The seller of the car did not post the link so it's not a for sale thread, it belongs in the Hot Links section which has no rules about discussing a vehicles merits or other attributes. So the thread has been moved.

It would be a different story had this been an actual for sale thread posted by the seller.

The owner didnt post the car here FS, it was added as a link post. Comments, good, bad, or otherwise seem reasonable to expect on such threads.
IMO its way over priced. It will likely take an uninformed buyer to pay that much. But, thats free market capitalism. As for the looks, it doesnt do anything for me, but who cares.

Eric's right - should have been a "hot link" and not a "for sale" thread - thanks for moving.

I knew this car would be a bit controversial here, as earlier discussions of the Autokonexion N2 kits have solicited mixed opinions here. Certainly this one isn't for everyone - I get a bit excited when I see big flares thinking about the huge amounts of rubber you could squeeze under them!

I read the for sale thread on 240Atlanta about this car and there are lots of folks that are getting hung up about the price. More people are bent out of shape about the fact that she paid $3500 and is now asking $5500. Kind of brings up a good point though - does it really matter what you paid for something when you go to sell it? If you buy a Miata hardtop for $250 is worth any less than an identical hardtop you paid $700 for? Basic economics dictates that price should be a function of what the market will bear. Said another way, price will be determined by what someone is willing to pay - and when you are selling one car, all you need is one buyer that believes the car is worth the selling price. We all understand the laws of supply and demand, right?

One person's definition of bashing is another person's definition of voicing their own opinion. As long as it's done in a mostly civilized manner all is well on this forum. So far no one has been nasty about expressing what they think.

Umm really? I recall Calvin calling it "uhgly." thanks though.
ughly, lol but yeah i guess we're guilty of trashing and bashing for voicing our honest opinions in a civil manner

i agree, opinions are opinions. but the mods let it sit in the fs section so i figured fs thread. over here it doesnt matter either way what anyone says ;)

and i agree with nick. just because she got a great deal doesn't mean she is going to give it away. is it worth 5500? doubt it. if she posts it at 5500 could she get 5? probably, if it wasnt just beginning winter.. prices of miata went down about 2 weeks ago like they do every winter. she may be lucky to sell it for 3500 again.. who knows.

Answer = No. It really doesnt matter what someone paid at all.

But, honestly the $3500 she gave is about all its worth on a good day.
Its a $1500 Miata with some stuff tacked on to it. True story.

That car was also wrecked and had a new front end welded on. Before it was gray, it had a mix of white and red body panels. I live about a mile from Enjuku and saw it on an almost daily basis before it was sold. I don't see anything wrong with commenting on the car. It's not like we're posting it in her for sale thread(I know I'm just repeating what was already stated).
